im doing a course in webdesign but have missed alot of college due to being ill, but they wont give me an extension!!!!!<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> so i have to create a full website in 2 days, hand in a plan of it, and have a full pdf document on how i did it. its gonna be a long couple of days. but due to me not being there i really know nothing about how to make the site. i have defined a site in dreamweaver mx and so on and added a background graphic, made a table to add the banner at the top of the screen and added another table to put in 6 buttons. but do i need to make a table for the whole page or somthing for it to keep consistant in different browsers??? i am really getting worried!!!! if this isnt handed in in 2 days i am getting kicked of the course id say and will end up having to lift bricks for a year till i can start another course. come one guys i need help someone tell me what to do. the quickest way to make a quick simple but good looking site..... reply a.s.a.p

when i make a template of it, and open a page from it. i cant add text or anything no matter where the mouse goes theres a blocked icon if you know what i mean........... someone help me layout a page so i can get a template going and get this site on the road......

You need to create "editable regions" in Dreamweaver on the template page, otherwise, you will not be able to edit any portion of the pages created from it. Go into DW help files and read up really quick on templates.
