HI
First you insert a fixation point (found in the 'insert' menu), give it a name, then highlight the text you want to link to it, and in the link space on the 'properties' floating palette you write: the route to the page you are on and then at the end add .htm# and name of your fixation point. For example: www.galiciaontop.com/hotels.htm#1
I think that's right anyway.
Good luck

My version of Dreamweaver is in Spanish, but it is definately almost bottom of the list in the drop down insert menu. The hot keys indicated are Ctrl+Alt+A. I hope that helps some. Sorry if it doesn't though, it's the best I can do. Good luck.

Hi Elliot
You're after the 'named anchor'. Place your cursor where you would like the 'named anchor'/bookmark etc., to be placed and insert the named anchor. Give it a name and to test you would create a hyperlink but precede the href with a '#' sign, see below:
Normal - <a href="mySite/myPage.htm">Click to go to my page</a> - this will load the page at the top
Named Anchor - <a href="mySite/myPage.htm#myNamedAnchor">Click to go my named anchor</a> - this will load the page and navigate to the bookmark/named anchor.

Hi Elliot
You need to remove the target attribute, it's prolly set to _blank.
