Fadeing Pages

Hi Guys and Girls. I recently visited a website that when you navigated between pages, the pages faded out and the new page faded in. It looked really good. Does any one know how this was done. It wasnt a flash site so i cant quite figure it out. Thanks guysRich

its done using page transitions with (dhtml)
it only works for IE, none of the other browsers support it.
quite easy to do from what i can remember.

Tacky it may be. But i think its better to know how to do it than to not know how to do it. Dont you think?
