08 Dec 2004 19:16:47 Mark S posted:
Hello all, I was wondering if there is anyway to save my Macromedia extensions. I have DL and bought quite a few over the last year and I am
going to have to reformat my computer as it is acting up on me. I do not
want to loose these extensions
So any help would be appreciated

go to the program files directory its in.
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Fireworks MX 2004
and save the "configuration" folder to cd or zip it up , upload it to some webspace whatever.
install fwmx again and then overwrite the configuration folder.
cant gaurantee it to work for every extension you have, but that is where the code goes that makes the extensions work.
