I am looking at purchasing the Pure ASP upload, but would like to know can I also move files that have been uploaded with the extension prevously i.e. day 1 upload files to afolder called 'day1' then day 2 copy files from 'day1' folder and also upload additional files (this can be a 2 steps if needed)

Don't think it can - though if you look in the Pure ASP info on the site it might prove me wrong.
It can, however, upload to a dynamically created folder - so you could upload to a folder with the current date, this would mean that day2 would always be in a folder with the date = date -1 day so returning your files from there wouldn't be hard to accomplish.
