Hi,created a CMS and it's all working fine. One feature I'd prefer is to have the person editing the page to have an option of sending the page for review (like Contribute) does or simply confirm changes like usual.
I have a few ideas floating aorund like having a seperate table for it so when they choose 'review' it submits it into table, person can review it, editor goes back to page, to the 'review' table and can update/add it into the main table.... anything easier than this?
Many thanks in advance,
Janusz

Yes, good <i>first</i> approach. I say first because it is late here and I'm tired, hehe. I would like to hear points from others on this idea.
In general, do you have a permissions table already?

i usually just add a second button that'll send it to a preview page using the default request form code.
and have the same code as hidden values at the bottom ready to insert for when you click the confirm button.
i dont use contribute anymore so cant really remember how it did it. but i guess thats what you mean?

You might also consider using a flag to indicate whether or not it has been approved yet (who approved it and the date and time too)
