i have created a dreamweaver file composed mostly of jpgs, accept for the dear ____. I want to (in a mail merge type situation) add the addressees name from a list into the dear field which is plain html text. how do i do it and how do i email the whole thing to customers.

Sounds like you're trying to send customised HTML emails, the bulk of the email being your dreamweaver page made up of jpgs?

Probably the easiest method to do this is to use DMXZone's smartmailer www.dmxzone.com/showDetail.asp?TypeId=3&NewsId=5578. You can use an HTML page as the template for your email and dynamically pass it names from a recordset to customise the content (the dear _____)
