Hi,I am trying to insert record into db, every time i am getting this error
Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use
an updateable query
What is the possible solution, I checked my permission and using XP as a Administrator with full permission. Please advice needed.

Hi Mashkur,
Sounds like your internet user account might not have rights to update the database... try this
1. Right click your .mdb file and choose properties
2. Click on the security tab
3. Click on Add
4. Enter your_machine_name\IUSR_your_machine_name
5. Then apply it
If you dont get the security tab then WinXP is in simple sharing mode (its default). To change that
1. Select Folder Options from the tools menu of an explorer window
2. On the View tab scroll to the bottom
3. Untick the simple sharing option (its recommended... but if you know what you're doing with sharing files then leave it turned off)
4. Apply that and you should now see the security option I mentioned earlier
