Background image in table cell
05 Nov 2004 00:53:36 S B posted:
Hi,I am using background image in Dreamweaver for the table cells. First, I created a table of 700 pixels width and used layout mode to arrange the cells. I have 4 cells with dimension 192*30 pixels (arranged vertically). I am using a background image for these cells, which is of exactly the same size as the cell. Then I insert an rollover image in the cell. This image is again the same size, 192x30 pixels. I repeat this for all 4 cells. But for the 3rd and 4th cell, the background image appears to repeat below the cell, with the cell dimension appears to be approx. 192x33 pixel. I tried setting the border=0, checked the sizes for the images and the cells, still the same problem. Any idea why this is happening and any suggestions to solve this problem?
Thank you,

Here is the link

I have 4 buttons on the left hand side of the page, and 4 on the right. As I mentioned in my previous email, the image size is exactly the same as the size of the table cell. I have the same problems with the buttons on the right hand side of the page. The background image repeats itself near the right border and bottom border of the buttons.
Thank you

I was able to solve this problem by adding style = "background repeat: no-repeat" attribute.
Thanks, SB
