I'm using DW MX.
Is there a way to upload only certain files from a directory, including subdirectories ?

For instance, is it possible to upload all index.php files within a directory and its subdirectories ?

Is this a question of functionality of Dreamweaver MX 2004 or a question for creating a webpage with scripting (PHP, ASP, etc)?

A question of functionality.
I'd like to know it is possible to select some files with a rule, and then upload them together.
Because i have several similar files scattered in several subdirectories and it is a pain in th a** to select and upload them one by one.

I take it just using the synchronise option to upload only files that have changed doesn't do quite what you want?

I also use and external FTP package (FTP Voyager) which lets you do that sort of thing

You can use the Synchronize feature of Dreamweaver:
- in your Files panel click on the right icon and choose Site, Synchronize;

Or with CRTL+click select the files you want to put:
- in your Files panell Crtl + click the files you want to put and click on put (the arrow that is pointing top)
