After installing the Pure PHP Upload extension successfully on my Mac OS X V.10.3.4 I tried to use it in DW 2004 Educational. When selecting the Pure PHP Upload function under the server behavior panel, I recieved the following error message:

Error in the server behavior Pure PHP Upload.htm: the search string was not found or it was incorrectly formed

Make sure there is a comment at the top of the file in the format <!-- search:"string to find" -->

Example: <!-- search:"rs.Request(\"r" -->

End of error.

I updated DW to 7.0.1 previous to installing Pure PHP Upload.

Any information on possible fixes or updates would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Justin Mitchell

I was able to get around this error message by installing Apache on my web server, which had been running IIS. Another problem that I had that may be common was the result of using the extension return plain code to the web page, instead of just the file upload form. I downloaded PHP 5 and it resolved this issue.
