I know this has been posted on here before, but i haven't found an answer yet - here goes:

I recently upgraded from DWMX to DWMX 2004, to find that none of my connections work, and that i am unable to create new connections. This is obviously not very good at all.

'an unidentified error has occurred' is the perpetual error whenever i click the "test" or "select database" buttons.

The only that has changed on my setup is the version of DWMX i am using, and i am not capable of making the simplest local connections. any ideas?

I am yet to try Phakt2 - foolishly beliveing that Macromedia would package a system that actually works without tinkering and bollocking about.

I've looked around for the obvious signs (making sure all paths in the settings window are correct, etc) but to no avail. The program seems to stuggle with the task, yet it also is incapable / unwilling to give me a reasonable reason why not.

This is lazyness on biblical levels by the programmers, i just can't believe someone actually coded an error message that publicly announces that it has no fucking idea what it's saying. Pathetic.

Any ideas, guys? I don't want to go back to the old DWMX!

Thanks!
