With a search, on the results page i would simpay like to display the values that were put in for the criteria for the search e'g if in the search they put "between 15 and 20 mtrs" i would like the results page to say "your search for between 15 and 20 mtrs" and so on.

Can you retrieve the search 'words' not by Request.Form or QueryString?
