Help... I have just purhcased smart mailer. I am using CDO. I am getting an error as follows:SendMail Error: The pickup directory path is required and was not specified. , code = -2147220958
There is a field for a pickup directory under the set-up tab in the server behavior, but there is no reference to this field in any of the help files or on the DMXzone site. What do I have to put in here??? What is a pickup directory.
Much thanks... Dan

Figured it out... I enter 'mail-fwd' in the server field.

I had the same error but the adding "mail-fwd" did not do the trick.
Eventually after multiple versions the follwoing seemed to work:
1. Even though the writes claim that you don't have to specify a mail server...do so! Eg. if your hosted site is www.webtesters.com then your server address will be mail.webtesters.com or smtp.webtesters.com (try both if you're unsure).
2. Specify the port as 25 - don't ask why 25 or even what that means...it's a MS thing.
3. DOn't bother with the Username and Password
4. Incidentally I unchecked "Ignore Errors", "Use Queue to send mail", "Timeout" was left at 300 and left "Pickup Directory" blank.
Hope this saves someone hours of eyeballing.
