Hi, I was having ongoing problems with Dreamweaver because my systems person set up sub domains on the c: drive and then the main wwwroot in the inetpub which also sat on the c: drive. Now I have a new web server (Dell) running Windows 2003 and the guy is setting up the server so the site root sits on e:/its/wwroot (its stands for the site name "InTheSchool". My scripts are running on c: and I don't understand why there is no inetpub. How exactly should a web server be set up so that DW MX 2004 is working properly. We are also running ServU, IISProtect and Perl and several cgi scripts. I don't think he is too sure of what he is doing and I am having a hard time finding info on this stuff. Thanks, Shell

In IIS right click the default website select New> Virtual Directory and follow the wizard.
Give your site a name and then point the directory at your E:\webfolder\its and upload your files there.

Then set DMX up as normal you should only need to change the remote server details
