For some reason I cannot use firefox to reply to posts in the forums. I can log in to the site, the home page displays my name no problems - but i do not get the reply to post options at all.
Is this a compatability issue or something peculiar about my install of firefox (that I installed a week ago)

it may work fine for you - but it doesn't for me
I dont think its browser pop up blocking that's affecting me.
It seems to log me in - login dialogue box isn't displayed and the home page refers to me by name.
But i dont get reply to topic.
Then the login box returns - with my details in. So i click login, the box goes away but i'm still not given the option to reply to topic.
any other ideas?
what settings could i fiddle with?

Hi Simon
Have you looked at the very bottom of the page, as that's where I find the reply to topic link? Since this site was redesigned with CSS, all manner of page objects have got flaky positioning, that's in IE6, Firefox 0.8, Opera 7 and Netscape 7, maybe George should have tested a bit more concisely before release.
Not sure what to suggest really, I'm assuming you're on version 0.9.
How did you post a reply here?
You could always submit a support call to George, don't expect a quick response though, considering comment that have been left here recently.
Let us know how you get on.

I must admit I hadn't scrolled to the bottom of the screen to find the reply option down there as well as at the top. Its quite handy having it in both places though.
Yes I'm on version 0.9.1 (freshly installed a week ago)
Everything works fine on IE 6 fully patched and up to date, I normally use IE and that's how come I can reply in the forums. However Firefox seems to be a neat bit of kit and saves space in my start bar with its clever tab browsing.
I'll email George and see what he thinks - doesnt look like he checks the forums very regularly as i would have thought someone would have picked up on the number of problems that are being reported here

and btw, i'd be very surprised if george even reads these forums, thats why we are mods, he's busy elsewhere.
