This is one for you database guys out there. I am currently putting our company online for use by the reps we have accross the country. Our who company relies on an AS400. For those of you who have used the as400 as your database you know that access times are slow especially dealing with large tables.
They will not agree to convert the business over to SQL, due to the fact they want to keep the green screens for customer service. I need to speed this up. Is there a way with sql to autoupdate when something has been changed on the AS400? this way I could at least know that my data was with in minutes of each other. MAN I NEED HELP!
