I have to possibly recreate the front end for a system in our business which is a SQL server and not MySQL.

Would it work to create the front-end in php to be consistant with out other web system or is it worth biting the bullet and creating it in ASP as it is an SQL server.

I'm only really a php person but if needs be I'll learn and go the asp route but if php works ok with SQL then I'll stick to what I know best to ensure compatibility.
