I just got smart mailer today, and no luck so far...

I've tried and tried and tried to send an email to myself from IIS xp pro, and on a 2000 server from my host - and cannot get anything to send. Infact, I've tried doing about 4 tutorials now and get nothing to send. What am I doing wrong - is my system configured wrong or is the firewall have something to do with it? I'm clueless - can someone help?

I've tried cdonts, and cdo thus far in the pdf tutorial - and nothing is happening at all except that if I use the wrong object, it gives me that error - whats going on?
