how do i go about placing a shopping cart on my site. I am using dreamweaver and i want a application that can be easily integrated. Where do i start and I how can i ensure security ?

A good example of a data driven shopping cart is charon cart.

You will also need to look into SSL for https: if you are going to create something that needs some security. This is not as difficult as people imagine, if you are using IIS you will find it very simple to apply for a certificate (you do have to pay however) and you do need access to your server. There are hosts out there that offer this so you do not have to do it all yourself if you host your site with someone. They will give you most of the info you need.

If you do have your own server and you need more details let me know. You can also apply for a test certificate for development.
