I want to use NTFS permissions to set security on a folder. When a user successfully logs in to the folder with an Active Directory login I would like to use the login information, specifically the user name in a session variable or cookie. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to whether this can be done or not. Thank You,
Jim

Hi Jim,
Try this link for info on what you are trying to do:
www.webmasterworld.com/forum47/61.htm
With .net you are able to use the .net passport if you register your site with the .net association, a quick search on google will show you the site.
