i have a number of galleries that i run using many objects from dmxzone. i am having widespread problems after movinng to windows 2003

for example my images wont resize and thumnails are not created. smart image processor is not working at all. what could cause this problem?


on close inspection i have observed the following... about the image resizing..

this global variable:

ResizeAutoComponent110

Is set to

DOTNET1

it doesn't seem to perform any kind of resizing, because valid values are:

PICPROC
SHOTGRAPH
ASPJPEG
ASPIMAGE
ASPSMART
IMGWRITER
ASPTHUMB
ASP.NET

So that's why resizing doesn't work i guess? because the component that is set is not listed here, if you set it to ASP.NET, then, it tries to
detect which ASP.NET resizing component is installed, "DOTNET1",
"DOTNET2" or "DOTNET3", i have tried to use the script to force one of these but apparently they dont come installed on windows 2003. Please help!!!

George. Please help me with this issue. I have tried many things to get it working but this issue is a major problem as we have moved to a 2003 server and we have many clients using various areas where they upload images that need resizing. Please help!

i have changed teh AUTO detect to ASP.NET and changed a number of permissions. the thumnails are workinb but the normaly images are not being resized anymore but are being uplpoaded full size....
