Mac DW problem

I run an G3 iBook with OS X 10.3.2 and my DW is killing me! It seems to handle text in some weird PC way that the Mac ofcourse can't know how to make use of. As you said at the top of this thread, scrolling does seem like it has a delay built in to it.But on the other hand. All DW versions I've been running on the Mac has been like this. I don't think it's specific for the MX 2004 version.

Not sure what speed that G3 processor is, but yes- that processor is definitely at the bottom end of the system requirements for MX 2004. The bar will raise in this respect as releases progress- but keep an eye out for the DWMX 2004 updater (to be released shortly) at the DW support center:

Performance issues as you've noted are definitely high on the priority list for this updater, and definitely for Mac users (who've reported the lions-share of performance-related issues so far).
