How do you make a symbol so that it moves smoothly instead of jerky? Im not talking about a normal square, circle, line or anything im talking about a person how would you make that persons joints move smoothly? Replies

i only ever did a person in motion once, and from your question i take it your referring to flash.
i used frame-by-frame animation, and to add more realism to movements, there is a slight change in x,y co-ordinates of symbol during the movement.
then i discovered Corel Poser <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>
