How do I make sure that the graphics that I import to flash remain with a transparent background?? If I modify it in Fireworks and bring it into flash there is the white annoying border surrounding the image... HELP

This MAY help... when you Export your image... use Export Preview.. a box will pop up. In that box, a bit more than 1/2 down the box you can select from a drop down menu.. pick Alpha Transparency & then right under that is a square colour selector... pick the colour of background that the image will rest on... it should get rid of the white you mention is around your image.

Though never having done it via FW to take back into flash, I'm not 100% sure it will work.
