Hi y'all,

I was wondering... Is it possible (in javascript or other scripting languages) to start an application on your computer? I am creating a multifunctional wallpaper for my own computer and I wanted to make some 'links' to my favourite and most used applications, just like as you to a website.
I thought that it might be possible in javascript. Or does anybody know of a better solution than this? And I don't want a program that creates standard wallpaper with links because I also want to add some stunning graphics to it.

Can anyone help me with this prob?
