When uploading a jpg image file using Pure ASP Upload, with image file verificatoin on, if the jpg file extension is in uppercase it will not upload and I get the default file extension error window. I have already tried to put the upper and lowercase versions of image file extensions using the custom verification options with still no success. I would like to continue to use image file verification but it needs to accept upper and lower case values. Does anyone have a fix for this? Replies

Which version of Pure ASP Upload do you use, there was a bug in 1.16 with the extension checking, this is fixed in 1.17

<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote>Hi Patrick. As mentioned is the Subject Line I am using the 2.1 version. I just purchased the software last week for a dynamic website project I have built for a Real Estate firm. I tested the product on other computers also to see if I could generate the same errors and all of them did the same. Anytime an image file was saved using uppercase letters it will not upload, generating the wrong file extension type error. As soon as I renamed the file extensions using lowercase it all worked fine. Right now I have all verification disabled so they could start uploading their images without flaw, but I would like verification set to accept image files only so they don't inadvertantly upload anything else, which sooner or later as you know will happen. Thanks for your interest with my issue. I look forward to hearing from you. Roger Hillibush

Oh, I meant 2.16 and 2.17
They are both called 2.1, if you apply the extension to your document you see the actual version number or check in the extension manager.

Go to MyDMXzone and select MyPurchases after you login. You will see a list of all your purchases with links to download the updates and serial numbers. Make sure you login with the same username and password that you used to purchase your extensions.
