Hello,

I'm using Dreamweaver MX for the first time. I have created and saved a frameset - all the frames are named and the pages needed are also created. But when I try to preview it in a browser, it tells me that it can't find the files - which are however saved in the site file of Dreamweaver. How can I resolve this problem? Is there anyone who could help me? Thank you

Could you post a URL where the pages in question can be viewed in their current state (i.e. a link to the master frameset doc)? Hard to tell what's going on without looking at the source code.

Just to clarify...Did you save eache frames as well? Check the framset and verify file paths for each frames.

Hmm... What do you mean by "The file paths begin with */ "? Are paths for each frames set as Site root?

See the source of the Frameset and choose one of the frames in it. In the Property Inspector, click the folder icon by the source to bring up a dialog box. Look at the bottom of the opened dialog box. Is it Site root or document relative?

If it is Site root, change it to Document Relative". Repeat this for every frames, and preview it locally.

THANK YOU very much. Now can I preview the frameset in the browser, now without the images, but I'll find how to view it, I hope.

Have a nice day,

I think links are all set in Site root. Change each to document relative.

That's right, I have already changed all the links and there is no problem more.

Thank you for your help,
