Hi;
I have designed a website some time ago, using MX and working well,
and recently I got an email from the owner that the website is not viewable from Tanzania ( an east african country),

I know that some country may filter some adult websites, but this website is a safari tours website and handle tours from north america to Tanzania, and no illegal activity what so ever.

the site is being hosted by a Canadian Host company in Canada.

Anyone Know what is the reason?

Appreciate your input.
Manou

I'm not particularly familiar with Tanzania's Information filtering policy, but one thing I can say is that I cannot just conclude, based on what you described, that it's caused by the country's restriction.

Settings of filrewall, browser, adn some others can also be a cause for a client to not be able to access to websites.

Hi

one possibility may be that your web site contains adult language or material that you are unaware of.

Difficult to give an example but try this.

My brother lives in Linconshire UK in a town called scunthorpe.

Ok so look at the spelling of te town and pick out the four letter word....

Now some ISP use word filtering and would reject that towns name ..

If you follow????

cheers
