You might want to look a little closer next time. It's right there in the toolbox- click and hold on the rectangle tool (type 'U' to select it if you're unclear, then click-hold to see all the options, including your favorite 'Rounded Rectangle').

Even has new 'realtime' feedback on the corner radii to boot, just click-drag on the yellow 'handles' after drawing your rounded rect and edit it in realtime.

OK - I see, if one selects a rectangle, the rectangle roundness box is there to the left of the effects box.
However, if one selects 'rounded rectangle' and draws same, there is no Rectangle roundness box visible.
Even with my super spectacles on.
Now this is hardly intuitive. Counter intuitive leads to wasted time and annoyance.
I suspect many users will do as I do, experiment and play using help only when really stuck and then skimming for the info needed. The entry in the help file under 'Drawing basic rounded rectangles' has 'choose the rounded rectangle tool' under the emboldened '<b>To draw a rectangle with rounded corners</b>' SKIP '<b>To round the corners of a selected rectangle:</b>' where it states 'Enter a value from 0 to 100 in the Roundness box in the Property inspector and press Enter, or drag the pop-up slider.'

Incidentally, the search facility in help that highlights the words searched for makes the help file difficult to read. Perhaps it's just me though.

And I've changed my signature from Huh? because it looked aggressive which was not my intent
