I installed the MX 2004 trial to test it based on comments in this forum that it can run just fine beside MX since it is a completely separate install. Well now ALL the sites developed in MX cannot access the recordset in MX. It just blinks and shows the recordset detail in the properties window but the recordset window does not open and I cannot create a new recordset.

MX 2004 works fine - but I am only TESTING it and I can't have MX not working properly. I can create new sites in MX and the recordset works... it's only the current sites that have a problem.

I never did find a fix for this - I had to uninstall the 2004 trial and MX itself, then reinstall MX along with all my extensions and everything came back. A really pain in the ....
