Since ASP.Net emerged I stopped using Dreamweaver. It's support for .Net was so poor that I needed to find some other tool to work with. VS.Net is really a great program for coders but when it comes to page design it's awfull. So, I waited for new Dreamweaver thinking that it will have better ASP.Net support allowing me to come back to it. However, support for ASP.Net is as bad as it was in previous version.Am I missing something or Macromedia throw away all those that work with ASP.Net?

I think Macromedia are more concerned with pushing CF which is a shame.
I still develop .net in DWMX and find it poor but it's still able to perform quite well.
We're only thinking of getting vs.Net at the moment (can't wait) so hopefully using both will be ok (design in DW, code in vs.Net - would be nice to do it all in the one environment tho.
