Now, I know how to create a text field, and edit it on Flash mx, but, I wanted to know how to make a text field, that can be edited, after publishing it, with a TEXT DOCUMENT. I seen it before, people add a special type of text field, and then after publishing it, they can edit the selected field with a named .txt document. Can someone please help!!!!

Well I dont have Flash open in front of me so I may be a little off.
After you click on the text tool and then you can draw your text area that you want to be able to type into. If you look to the bottom of the screen then you should see the properties box for the element that you are currently selected on. Find the part that says "type" with the option set to normal or something like that. Then you should be able to change the option to editable.

I hope that helps you out some.

I also think you might be able to right click on the circle or square that is to the right of the element, and then choose the editable option.
