I've been given a task to connect our compnays Intranet site to Active Directory. I guess that connecting to the AD database to my pages would be via ODBC as with the current MS Access databases, but I have no idea where to start. Could anyone help me.

Am I correct in thinking that i can connect to AD this way? I want to be able to display data from AD on the Intranet site.

Also if my manger adds fields to AD to be displayed on the site, can these be updated from a Web-based form?

Please, if you can help me in any way I would be eternally greatful.
