recordset filter more than once on page.

Hi can anyone tell me how to do this, on one page I have a recordset called RSmenu which has several columns one of which is menu_typeon the page I have 3 sections - starter, main course and side orders.
Short of having 3 seperate recordsets how do I filter 3 seperate repeat regions down so that I can fill in those sections on one page.
Anyone help im desperate.
