I'm a recent (as in yesterday) convert from .asp. Can anyone point me to a tutorial or other resource for converting from .asp to .php. I was hoping to be able to search by .asp terms and find .php equivalents.

At the moment I'm trying to find out how to search through a text file and replace certain content (pull from a MySQL) - then write out the result. I did this routinely with .asp and SQL and now want to learn the .php way.
