i have just started a local football team and i am planning to develop a site to base all information at. i am confident with dreamweaver mx, graphics design and flash but i am hoping to go a step further and make it dynamic so all players can log in and receive fixture emails etc .. also i am planning to make it editable online by admin without the need for me to update news etc .. ASP seems to be the perfect option for me but i am a bit concerned about hosting options. my site would have hardly any traffic and would need very little bandwidth, but i am concerned i will have to pay too much to justify doing this .. can anybody advise me of some good cheap hosting that would be suitable .. thnx a lot guys - barry

btw i forgot to mention i will hopefully be using MSAccess as my db and my own domain name

sound like a common problem with new hosters.. I remember when I used to be scrared about issues like yours... I do not think you need to worry. The main thing you should be concerned about is that your hosters know that you will ne using MS Access and that their server can manage... so just look for this when you are searching for your hosts to make sure.. I cannot tell you where to look since the INterenet is always changing and so are the prices....... one thing to consider is why not host on your own computer.. using IIS?

it is something that i have thought about but its not too practical imo, im play a lot of online games too so i dont want my bandwidth suffering .. i have had a look and seem to find around £50 per year is a fair price for access and asp .. i thought it would be worse <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
