I'm just about ready to start adding image upload functionallity into my site and was thinking about just buying the Mega Bundle at $249 but I may be getting stuff I dont really need. can anyone recomend the minimum that I would need to do the following. This is what I'm hoping that I can do
Upload 1 full image (optimised for web) have this image entered into my database (to display next to item in detailed view)
& also have a thumbnail of this image auto generated in order to display next to item (list view).
Also does my Hosting server need anything other than basic asp support to accept this?
I know this is probably in the product information but I just want to make sure before I goahead & buy
Thanks
Derek

To upload the image and insert the file path into the database you need the Pure ASP Upload extension. To resize the image and create a thumbnail of the image you need the Smart Image Processor extension. For this extension a resize server component needs to be installed on the server. It supports the following components: AspJpeg, AspImage, AspSmart, ImgWriter, AspThumb and ASP.NET
If you would like to be able to click on the thumbnail image and display the larger image, you could use the Advanced Open Window extension.

Thanks for your reply to this query -
Are there many hosting accounts out there that have the resize server component installed or is this something I can install myself on my hosting? - sorry I'm just starting out -

Hosting companies often do not let you install server components. Most hosting companies support at least one of these components.
You will need to ask the hosting company.
