I am trying to create a graphic that has parallel horizontal lines that are different colors. Is there a way to do that without making each line separately. Can you create a mixture of colors and pull them out to form a rectangle. I'm new to FW so this may be a dumb question. What I'm looking to do is make creative backgrounds using horizontal and verticle patterns.

Unless you have a distinct pattern that you can apply to the rectangle background, you'll need to create each line individually.
