ASP Upload - still uploads image even if too big

Using ASP Upload I want to limit the size of the upload to 200px by 200px. What I'm finding is that if I try to upload an image larger than this size I get the alert that says the image is too big the first time I hit submit, but if I try to upload another image that is also too big it DOES slip past. Then it resets itself - so that if I try to upload a large image again I get the error message, but the time after that it will allow any sized image to upload.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

This is a problem in the javascript, till now ASP Upload does not support image size checking serverside, this feature will be added.

Can you tell me which browser and OS you are using?

There aren't any known problems with those OS and browser, but will do some internal testing here

I have another post under 'Bugs' and somebody else is having this problem. Just to help you recreate the error:

I have an update form that submits to itself.

The first time I submit the form ASP Upload gives an error message if the image is too big.

If I then leave the file field blank and submit the form (i.e. don't upload an image) the next time I submit the form it DOES let me upload an image that exceeds the maximum size.

It is the javascript that is not 100% foolproof, we are working on it
