I am trying to make a search page where the search criteria are on the left and the results display on the right. Simple you may think.....

My problem is that the search criteria an the left are list/menus dynamically populated from the database. I have about 6 search criteria, list 1 populates list 2 and 3, then list 4 polulates lists 5&6.

I am fine with the actual searching its the setting up of the list menus and keeping it all on one page that seems to cause the problems.

Is there a link to somewhere or an example? Or has someone done this before?

Thanks in anticipation.....

What you need is some dynamic menus.

Check out www.webassist.com/

They have a Dreamweaver MX component for using Dynamic ListBoxes/ComboBoxes/Pulldowns (Whatever you call them) <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> It has a price however of $20.

If you want a free version, you can go to Macromedia Exchange and do a search on Dynamic menus. I think it's there.

Hope this helps...
