Is there a tutorial out there that can help a total newbie on tracking how many times a link has been clicked and display the results on a page by day or week?

I run a online radio site and I would like to know how many hits a past show archive is getting on what day and by the week. Right now I have embeded Windows Media Player and I am using a dynamic drop-down box with javascript to select and play what past archive you want to play.

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be great.
