I am managing 3 site, most of which share many of the same images. What I would like to do is create a site like images.business.com that all three sites (siteone.business.com, sitetwo.business.com, sitethree.businees.com) can reference as the central image reservoir.

Brilliant right? Well, the problem is at design time in Dreamweaver. We have to layout page after page of products and putting those together without being able to put them together in design layout is a real pain. But when I want to use
<img src="<% IMAGELOC %>/image.jpg>
all I get on the screen are the grey “image missing” graphics.

Basically, is there a way I can have the ASP execute in design view in Dreamweaver? Does anyone else have any suggestion to alternatives if I can’t approach this new central image location this way?
