I am having a problem with setting up a testing server in DWmx. I am using DWmx on a mac with OS 9. My problem is that when i try and preview a php page in a browser, I get an error asking me to set up a testing server. I can still preview the page as far as the layout and everything but a lot of the php code shows up also.
I need to know how to set up the testing server. If anyone can help me out, please let me know.
TIA

i'm not sure about Mac, but the general rule is that you need:

1. An application server (IIS, Apache)
2. PHP engine installed (www.php.net)

this will tell the browser that whenever a .php page is executed it opens the php.exe program to parse it correctly.

however i don't think there is a php engine for mac. you'll need to set up a windows or linux testing server on a network.

i might be wrong though.
