Hello Forum,

I am new to using Dreamweaver in conjunction with ASP and a SQL database. I currently run an art gallery and am working on revamping and upgrading my gallery's innards. A programmer friend helped me create the initial pages about three years ago and they no longer are up to date with what I have planned for the gallery... so I want to do it over myself. Can Dreamweaver MX do it? The first stumbling block I am coming accross is how to generate a page like this:

www.critical-depth.com/filter.asp

This is my filter page, which is included in subsequent gallery pages. It pretty much determines how the galleries will be browsed. Can you guys get me started in the right direction in terms of recreating this? The main reason for me recreating, instead of using the exsisting pages, is so that I finally know how my site operates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Eric

i think before we can help you there you need to tell us the structure of the database. are the categories dynamic (i.e. in a table) or statically placed into the drop menu?

if you're using Access you can post a screenshot of your relationships screen, or maybe just write an outline of your database structure.
