Hi,

I'm using ASP with MS Access 2000 database and am going through the process of establishing my site.

I'm running W98 w/ PWS and have set-up the local and remote server's on my pc and aim to do the same with the testing server.

I've followed the instructions line by line for how to set up my local and remote sites, however, when I come to set-up the testing server, its not registering.

I'm using the same location for the testing server and remote server and have been able to successfully set-up the remote server.

I've read that sometimes DMX throws a 'wobbly' and doesn't recognise the testing server, the suggestion is to set-it up again - I've done this a few times now and no luck.

Has anyone experienced the same problem - any suggestions.

Cheers,

Kerry

Just a thought,

have you set up your dns connection in control panel to allow you to conect to the database ?

Thanks for your email - I've re-installed PWS which seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks once again
