Why are there 2 ## signs in Coldfusion?
31 Mar 2003 18:47:10 James Lee posted:
Hello Guys,I am doing a repeated region and I intend to have an alternate row colour for my data. I am doing that in Coldfusion. Just wondering, why in Coldfusion, there are 2 (pound) ## signs, if I am going to change the colour of a certain row? Like for example, '##ff0000'. What is the purpose of the extra pound sign?
Thanks for reading this!

excuse my late reply.
the double Hash signs with colour is because the ColdFusion application par.ses the first # and then html won't understand your colour code anymore, the funny thing is that when you use a colour code within a CF tag then the double Hash sign will actually cause an error. CFCHART for instance.
