I have a customer who only has Dreamweaver 4 and wants to edit a site that I created in MX. In order to tell him whether or not that would be possible, I got myself a copy of 4 and tried to open the site. I found many similarities and most everything worked fine, except it wouldn't link to the stylesheet. No matter how many times I "added" it in the CSS Styles window, it still never showed up. If I go to "edit" style sheets, it shows up there, but when I click done it doesn't show up on the main window. Thus, styles aren't applied to any of the tables in the website, rendering the text invisible. Any ideas? Are style sheets created in MX incompatible with 4 or am I just not doing something right?
Thanks,
Tanya

CSS styles are compatible with pages, irrespective of the design package you use. If your CSS Sheet is not linked to your page, chances are you have got a problem with your directory structure, your root folder or you are maybe using root-relative paths instead of document-relative ones.

Remove the sheet and re-attach it again, that could help. I have migrated sites from UD4 to DWMX and viceversa in the past and had no CSS problems, so i doubt that this is an issue relating to the program itself
