I am new at the dynamic world but am following the Dreamweaver tutorial for displaying an Access table for a Comments database. As soon as I create the Recordset I can no longer see the page using Live Data View. I get error HTTP 500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP Error.
Error type: 0x80004005- MS OLE DB Provider for ODBC... THe MS.Jet db engine cannot open the file '(unkonwn'). It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

I am using Win2000 and have installed IIS and have set up a local web server in which to test my web application. I have succesfully completed these tests.

1) DSN configuered and tested
2) Sample ASP (time) code created and tested
3) Tutorial example runs OK until I create the RecordSet. At that point I get the above error.
4) I have given full access to the db file and directory as requested by a MS tech help note.
5) I have increased the timeout to 5000 as suggested by tech note.

I am at my wits end. I do not know where to go from here.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.<font color=teal></font id=teal>
