Hello all.
I have one big picutre given to me by a graphics designer. He wants me to cut it into slices in fireworks. My only problem is that in the middle there is an empty area that I wish to then use in DW to insert a table so I can add text using CSSs. How do I go about it?
If I leave it without a slice, when I add a table, the table goes into other places in DW.
Please help.

TIA!

I would try this:

slice the image the way the desinger wants it with the center area included. The slice should end up being nested in a table cell. Open the exported html in dreamweaver and go to the cell where you want to insert the table. Note the size of the image in the cell and then delete the image. You may have to input the image size numbers into the cell size numbers of the table. You should then be able to insert a new tabe into that cell. I would use a 100% vluse for the width of the new table.
